There was a recall/TSB back in 2015 for the transmission so they should all be ok now.

Source: parents got theirs two weeks after they traded in their ‘08 Vue for a ‘14 Fusion because the transmission was about to grenade.

Around me they seemingly disappeared for a while but I’m seeing lots of them again for some reason. It’s like they all went in to get new transmissions all at once and came out all at the same time.
